Soul Winning- …  “to acquire soul-winning power, you will have to go through mental torment and soul distress. You must go into the fire if you are going to pull others out of it, and you will have to dive into the floods if you are going to draw others out of the water. You cannot work a fire escape without feeling the scorch of the conflagration, nor man a lifeboat without being covered with the waves.” - Charles Spurgeon

                 In the scriptures, we learn;   "...and he that winneth souls is wise." (Proverbs 11:30) The Peoples Baptist Church provides for, and seeks many opportunities to make investments into soul winning.  Christians are provided with tracts outlining God's plan of salvation. These tracts can be distributed at any time a Christian feels moved by the Holy Spirit to do so. These tracts offer a wonderful opportunity to witness to strangers and lost loved ones about God's perfect gift and the saving power in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

                 Weekly visitations are scheduled on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings allowing even more opportunities to make soul- winning investments and increase the growth of effective soul-winning abilities. Scheduled visits to local nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and senior centers also facilitate soul-winning opportunities.

Music— “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High.” Psalms 92:1

                 Our music ministry includes modest, Godly music by an old-fashioned choir, congregational hymns, youth choir, and specials used to glorify God through the talents he has blessed  us with.

 

Children’s Ministry— Sunday school, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, and Children’s Fellowship with Pastor and Family

Bus Ministry— To bring those to church who need a ride.

Men’s Prayer Room– 30 minutes before each service the men pray and seek God’s blessing for the upcoming service and other specific prayer requests

 Radio Ministry—Tune in to the Victory Hour broadcast on WVRC 1400 AM Radio, Monday mornings at 8:05am.

Ladies REACH— Reaching Everyone by Admonishing Christian Hope - Ladies have fellowship meetings, work on community projects for mothers, senior centers, and nursing homes, and organize meals for recovering church members

Senior Saints— Senior fellowship with Pastor Cale and family
